Comprehensive Vehicle Checks

If you are intending to sell or re-register a light vehicle in Queensland, a safety certificate is mandatory. This is because the certificate confirms that the vehicle has passed a minimum safety standard inspection. Toowoomba Lube & Mechanical is an official Approved Inspection Station (AIS), enabling us to conduct the assessments required and issue the certificate – providing all parameters are addressed.

At Toowoomba Lube & Mechanical, we only charge the government recommended certification rate. You can depend on us to perform the necessary inspection to the highest standard, so you can drive or sell your vehicle with confidence. If your vehicle passes the inspection, a written certificate will be issued to you. However, if the vehicle fails the inspection, you have 14 days to rectify any issues and call us back to schedule a second inspection. If your vehicle is not registered, there is no legal requirement for vendors to provide safety certificates.
